Aricia agestis - Brown Argus
This small, brown, unassuming butterfly is the very first one of which I managed to achieve a focussed digital butterfly photograph, with a Nikon Coolpix, way back now.
It has a latitudinal creep of speciation, to the North of the UK, where agestis reaches Yorkshire, but south of where I live, to be replaced by the subspecies salmacis.
