Aricia nicias - Silvery Argus
One species I took a long time to get to see. With the help of local knowledge, a visit to the Alp-Maritimes produced the goods, with a wondrous moment of first sighting a puddling male.
The females were a little more elusive, staying in the vicinity of the larval food-plant, geranium sp. Eventually, a butterfly photograph was procured.
