I have seen this in both the Haute-Savoie, where the upper left butterfly photo came from, and the Pyrenees where the lower left sided photo was taken. The two large conjoined eye spots separate it from the Swiss Brassy Ringlet, and as yet I have seen none of the other species in the group.
