This relatively common mainly North/ Mid European butterfly species is very attractive in it's fresh state. I have yet to do it photographic justice. Hopefully I can do better in the future. It's Northern UK limit is a matter of 10 miles South of where I live, but it so far has resisted a move any closer than that.
