These butterfly photos show the ink black antennae  tips off very well, the feature which distinguishes it from the Small Skipper most easily, not taking into account the short straight male sex brand.  This is a species I have seen little of, the oldest photos were taken in the Pyrenees some years ago, the latest from the Haute Savoie.
